My latest and only Orient. Decided to add this Orient to my dress watches collection, since I missing an Orient. (Excuses….)

But this is a very value for money dress watch, while I got it pre-owned, the first owner bought it at only $193 from a shop in Bras Basah.

Very vintage looking design.

At the price point below $200, it’s a lot of watch for that small amount of investment. Firstly, it’s an automatic movement, no frills basic automatic movement with no hacking and handing winding functionality, it does get the job done.

You will expect a simple printed dial but no, look at the raised logo and indices. It oozes quality.

I won’t expect more for the case back, it’s as simple as it gets.

Signed crown and domed crystal.

A wrist shot for those are used to wearing big diver watches, don’t expect dressy classics to be huge, but at 40mm, it wears very comfortably on my 7″ wrist.
