When I saw this listing on eBay, it was listed as “VINTAGE RUSSIAN BOCTOK GENTS DIVERS WATCH”. Little did he know, it’s a Komandirskie with “заказ По CCCP” !

For those who can’t catch my excitement, the ВоÑток КомандирÑкие / Vostok Komandirskie is a Commanders watch and “заказ По CCCP” translated to “By the order of Ministry of Defense of USSR”. It was a military issued watch, a civilian version is available, but it will be “Сделано в СССР“/ “Made in CCCP” instead of “заказ По CCCP”
Movement: ВоÑток 2214 manual wind
Jewels: 17
Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date calendar
It has a screwed in crown, however I not very sure on the water resistance rating.

Hi,
I just wanted to share my experience with Komandirskie 2426b, last year I swum with that watch every day for four days and it worked excellently, its waterresistancy is alright unless one should not deep sea diving(scuba diving etc).

Hi,
Does anyone know where to service the Vostok Amphibians in Singapore apart from Red Army? I have one that seems to stop the moment I don’t wear it. I’ve asked Red Army before but they quote a S$75 labour charge before servicing charges! It’ll be cheaper to buy a new one from the internet at that rate.
Thanks.
Servicing mechanical movements are never cheap, so many watchmakers refused to work on Russian movements.
